Susan Funk, GCPS Assistant Superintendent, serves as supervisor of Human Resources. As the department supervisor, Susie oversees hiring and recruitment, policy compliance, and works with licensed and non-licensed staff pertaining to functions within the realm of H.R. and educational programs.

Janice Linker, former supervisor of human resources, provides administrative support to our HR team in submitting teacher licensing requests to the Department of Education and keeping our school board policies up to date.

Amy L. Vaughan is the clerk of the Human Resources department and receptionist for the school board office. She manages job postings, applications and the onboarding process for of our new staff, as well as staffing our schools with substitutes. She also handles FMLA, short term disability and other needs for our staff pertaining to their attendance and benefits.
